Named after renowned educationist and philanthropist Sir Ziauddin Ahmed, the Sir Ziauddin Hospital has adopted a multidisciplinary approach. It offers a wide range of specialties such as cardiology, oncology, neurology, and more. The hospital operates across five locations in Pakistan and Dubai. With further expansion planned in the U.K. and Ireland, the hospital has strategically designed a data management plan and a three-year technology-driven transformation road map. This ambitious plan aims to position it alongside some of the leading hospitals in the region. Artificial intelligence, AI, is the key enabler of this transformation and is being leveraged in critical areas such as predictive diagnosis, radiology and imaging, as well as career counseling.

"Our early experiments with AI will soon start delivering the outcomes in the domain of predictive diagnosis, especially in oncology." said Sadaf Sheikh, group CIO, Sir Ziauddin Hospital. "We are also experimenting with generative AI to ultra-refine the radiology image quality so that technicians can give more accurate results."
