The astrologer is regarded as the default counselor in India. For decades, the astrology industry was unstructured and informal. But what if it could be on a platform where many astrologers and counselors offered their services to consumers?

"I felt if I could put a brand in the market, it would unlock a lot of value. Hence I founded in 2003," says Hemang Pandit, founder, MD and CEO, is a digital platform offering astrology, counseling services, products and content - consumed by millions of customers. Its customers can avail of personalized counseling and astrology services, with reports. leverages digital technologies for the discovery and provisioning of its services.

"Being a B2C brand, our mission is to deliver a great customer experience whenever they come to any of our touch points," Pandit says. "We have to ensure that our customers never experience any downtime. Our apps and web-based services must be extremely responsive and fast."

To enable this, the company uses cloud technologies and services that provide autoscaling, redundancy, load balancing and failover.
